The OSHA Training Institute Education Center is hosting Pacific Coast Safety Fest 2018, a low-cost occupational safety and health training event, on March 6-8, 2018, in California and Nevada. The San Francisco Bay Area event, sponsored by Region IX OSHA and Cal/OSHA, is being held in Dublin, California, while the Las Vegas Area event, sponsored by Region IX OSHA and Nevada S.C.A.T.S., is being hosted by the City of Henderson, Nevada.
Pacific Coast Safety Fest 2018 provides low-cost safety training to help create safer workplaces as well as additional OSHA-certified workers. By raising worker safety and health awareness and promoting best work practices, the OSHA Training Institute Education Center is striving to support OSHA’s mission that all workers return home safe each day.
Pacific Coast Safety Fest 2018 is open to contractors, small business owners, professional technical educators, businesses required to follow OSHA standards and anyone interested in creating a safer workplace. Participants pay a nominal fee of $20 per class at time of registration and receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a certificate of attendance for each class completed. Space is limited and early registration is advised. Walk-ins will not be permitted.
Presentations on the latest OSHA updates and classes on topics ranging from safety and health management and recordkeeping rules to leadership skills and outreach training will be featured at Pacific Coast Safety Fest 2018 at the following locations:
