Vaccination Policy for In-Person Classes

Chabot-Las Positas Community College District requires that all students attending in-person classes be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. A person is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receipt of the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Students will need to show proof of vaccination status on the first day of class in order to be granted entry. Acceptable forms of proof include a copy of official CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (physical copy or clear picture), or the digital vaccine record obtained through the California Department of Public Health, which is accessible via the website:

Course Grades and Policies

Students are expected to attend all sessions in full, respect the instructor and other students, and participate in class discussions and exercises. Additionally, some courses require an examination, which students must pass to complete the course.
  2. Students who do not meet the above requirements (for any reason) will receive a “no pass” for the course. Students receiving a “no pass” may re-take the course at their own expense to try to achieve a passing grade.
