Course Delivery Options
The OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District offers safety courses in a variety of formats, including:
Zoom – Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) Courses
Our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) courses are conducted in a live-video delivery format via Zoom. Attendance and active participation at all class sessions is required. SEE VILT COURSE SCHEDULE HERE
In addition, you will need the following:
- An internet connection: broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
- Personal computer, laptop, or iPad tablet (recommended). iPhone will work but is not recommended for extended periods of time.
- Speakers and a microphone: built-in, USB plug-in, or wireless Bluetooth
- A standard webcam or HD webcam: built-in or USB plug-in

On-Site at Your Facility
The OSHA Training Institute Education Center at CLPCCD staff and instructors can provide on-site training at your location, according to your schedule.

Hybrid Courses
Hybrid courses are a combination of Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) via Zoom and In-Person training. Students will be required to arrive at the determined classroom/facility location to participate in the in-person portion of the course to successfully complete the course.
Online Training
We offer traditional online training through UL Solutions – Global EHS Training Library, which allows the student to attend these classes from home on their own time and at their own pace. Topics include the OSHA 10-Hour Construction, OSHA 10-Hour General Industry and OSHA 30-Hour Construction classes as well multiple workplace safety awareness, driver safety and transportation hazardous materials awareness topics.
