Military and Public Sector Safety Training

The OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District provides professional occupational safety and health training designed to support the needs of the military community, public agencies, contractors, and the general workforce.

Our programs help participants build practical knowledge in regulatory compliance, hazard recognition, risk reduction, and workplace safety leadership. Courses are delivered by experienced safety professionals who bring real-world industry knowledge into the classroom, with training designed to support both operational readiness and long-term workforce development.

As we expand our military-focused training pathway, our goal is to offer flexible, mission-aware safety education that can serve active-duty personnel, veterans, civilian employees, contractors, and organizations supporting military operations. Courses may support professional development, transition into civilian safety careers, and the continued strengthening of safe work practices across demanding operational environments.

Training options can be adapted to meet the needs of diverse organizations, including military installations, public works agencies, emergency services, construction teams, maintenance operations, logistics groups, and other safety-sensitive workplaces.
