Cari Elofson
Cari Elofson holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) designation. She has over 30 years of experience in workplace safety, with a passion for helping people learn, grow, and lead in the safety profession. She’s spent her career creating effective training programs, building strong mentorships, and supporting organizations in building stronger, more vibrant cultures that value teamwork, relationships, and compliance.
Most recently, Cari led the northern California based OSHA Training Institute Education Center, where she worked closely with colleges, industry experts, government agencies, and community organizations to expand access to safety education. Whether she’s developing a new program or teaching, Cari’s focus is always on making safety practical, engaging, and relatable.
She is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer in general industry, construction, and disaster preparedness, and she takes pleasure in teaching students and those new to safety professions.
