OSHA is partnering with worker safety organizations on #MySafeSummerJob, a social media campaign to educate young workers about their rights in the workplace, how to speak up about dangerous work conditions and how to protect themselves on the job.

Safe work is rewarding work. Employers have the responsibility to provide a safe workplace and must follow all OSHA safety and health standards to prevent youth (and all workers) from being injured or becoming ill on the job.

OSHA has created a Young Workers area on their website to help young workers prevent job-related injuries and illnesses. OSHA’s goal is for every young worker to have a safe and rewarding work experience.
