The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District has reached an 8-year milestone in providing occupational safety and health courses through its OSHA Training Center in Dublin. The OSHA Training Center is the only OSHA Training Institute Education Center based in Northern California that is authorized by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration to offer OSHA standards-based courses.
The OSHA Training Center offers a wide range of safety and health courses for construction, maritime and general industries at its classrooms located in the Dublin District office building as well as locations throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and Guam. Students are able to earn and maintain their OSHA credentials as well as earn OSHA Training Center CEUs, which can be applied to many safety professional designations.
Based on current projections, the OSHA Training Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is on track to reach well over 10,000 students since opening its doors in 2008.
