Controls, Procedures and Training are Required to Keep Workers Safe in the Maritime Industry

The maritime industry includes the construction, repair and scrapping of vessels, as well as the movement of cargo and other materials. Maritime industry workers face many potential hazards, including slips, trips and falls; machinery and equipment hazards; hazardous chemicals; confined/enclosed spaces; and fire hazards.
