OTC 300 – EM-385 Construction Requirements
Course Description
This course covers safety as well as the procedures and requirements as set forth by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety Health Requirements Manual. Learn how to properly prepare a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan(APP),site safety health officer’s qualifications and responsibilities, Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) forms and their development, site personnel training, incident response and reporting procedures, jobsite auditing, and hazard communication. Contractors working at military bases and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects must comply with the requirements of USACE EM-385 1-1. This 40-hour course provides instruction about how contractors can comply with EM 385 1-1 standards. It is very interactive and includes many of tools to assist contractors with EM-385 1-1 compliance.
