The OSHA Training Institute Education Center is excited to announce that OSHA 500-Trainer Course for the Construction Industry and OSHA 501-Trainer Course for General Industry are now being offered live, online via Zoom.

These 4-day courses are designed for those who are interested in teaching OSHA’s 10-hour and 30-hour safety and health outreach classes in either construction or general industry. Special emphasis is placed on those topics that are required in the 10-hour and 30-hour classes as well as on those that are the most hazardous in each industry. Participants learn effective instructional approaches, adult learning principles and training techniques.

Completion of these courses authorizes the student to become a trainer in the Outreach Program and to conduct both 10-hour and 30-hour safety and health classes in either construction or general industry, and to issue student completion cards to participants.

Those interested in becoming an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer are encouraged to register early as these courses fill up fast!
