Bertie Flanders

Senior Administrative Assistant

Bertie began working at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District in 2008 as a College Clerk, and then an Administrative Assistant II where her primary duties included overseeing Title IV-E contracts, apprenticeship training programs, and assisting with the Contract Education and OSHA departments. She began working primarily with CLPCCD – OSHA Training Institute Education Center in 2015 as a Senior Administrative Assistant and now oversees’ the OSHA Training Center including; enrollment, marketing, and accounting for OSHA classes.

Bertie was previously a partner in a successful entrepreneurial HVAC business, where she performed financial and administrative functions for the company.

In 2016, Bertie received the Chancellor’s Award in recognition of Outstanding Service to the District and successfully completed the Chabot Las Positas Classified Leadership Institute for Professionals (CLIP) Program. She is currently attending Las Positas College and is working towards an Business Administration Certificate.
